In his earlier years, Kirk received his education from Michigan State University. There, he earned a bachelor’s degree in finance. He then went on to to manage a commercial loan portfolio for a large bank worldwide. He was also the Vice President for that bank. Other positions he held included VP of business development for a web development firm and consulted with a technology firm regarding marketing and research. A few years later, he went on to become part owner and CFO at Strategic Link Consulting. While doing that, he also served as Vice President to TranDotCom Solutions. Currently, he is part owner to Cane Bay Partners VI, LLP. He performs all duties of the CEO, as well as helping with portfolio risk management from time to time.
His Current Duties and Day To Day Life On St. Croix
Today, he is part owner of Cane Bay Partners, along with David Johnson. Their company specializes in deployment, financial modeling, technology architecture, commercial lending and software development. The company was started on the island of St. Croix and that is where he also resides. He and his business partner also sponsor educational programs for the children living on the island. One of this favorite activities includes bowling in the Tropical Ten Pin bowling league. His expertise and knowledge in the finance field is very extensive.
